1890s Antique American Empire Burl Walnut secretary desk , Original key. We are pleased to offer this Gorgeous High Quality Antique American Empire Secretary Desk , from the 1890s. This Desk is made of Burl Walnut wood , Featuring one large Drawer in the center and 4 smaller drawers (2 on each side) , drawers are dovetailed / original Walnut handles/ very clean and they open smoothly.

Just above it there is a flip down writing surface with original key, the interior has 4 small drawers 2 on each side original brass handles , and 5 cubbies. The desk has a beautiful carved column on each side , a bottom shelf and supported with four strong legs. This Desk is completely restored (Refinished Hand French Polish), very sturdy and in great condition. Please see pictures for more details , and if you have any questions feel free to ask. Height to the Writing surface : 27 1/2. Surface Depth all the way to the back : 30 1/4.
