Early - likely 18th century - Secretary Desk, primarily made of mahogony and poplar? Much of the covering appears to be an early veneer, which is good shape, with some cornering/border exceptions. Some touch up work is evident. Some hardware has been replaced.
This piece has issues; the case construction is firm and secure, but at least one footing has been re-secured in the form of screws and glue. The drawers and tracks need work and do not slide well on the tracks, but they are not terribly difficult to remove either.
