Exquisite 19th Century Chippendale style side by side secretary. A rectangular case with breakfront design made from crotch mahogany with carved backsplash. Features a drop front writing desk flanked by bookcases.

The petite secretary opens to a tooled green leather work surface in front of pigeon holes and hand dovetailed drawer. Includes lower cabinet for storage below drop front. The exterior flanked curio cabinets are glass covered with wooden fretwork backing and two fixed shelves. Case is supported by cabriole legs leading to ball and claw feet.

An elegant yet functional design perfect for use in a libary or home. Good Antique Condition with some alligatoring/crazing to veneer from over a century of use. 54" x 14.25" x 53.25"h, surface 47".
