Fresh from a local Rye New York e. Pleasure to offer you this fine French Antique 19th Century Secretary. Large piece with gentlest curves, made in style of King Louis of France. Top has a pair of doors, matching color wood.

With 3 shelves, making it a perfect vitrine to display your treasures (3+1 shelves). Below the glass doors is a lid featuring a finest carved shell in the center, under which is a writing surface.

Below the desk section are 2 horizontal double handle drawers. All drawers and doors have have their original bronze hardware and antique locks.

It is standing on four long legs, pair of curved in the front and pair of straight legs in the back. Condition is good overall, rock solid construction, shows age / use wear, with hairlines on the lid (please see photos). Size is large 80" tall to top, 38" wide, 20 deep, desk.
