Antique 2 Piece Cherry Curly Maple Slant Front Secretary Desk w Bookcase Top 1850s. An antique two piece cherry and curly maple slant front secretary desk with bookcase blind door top. Empire style and dates back to the 1850s era.

Cherry wood case with curly maple accent pieces on the front. Blind door top with two small bottom drawers. Desk base has a slant front lid with original working lock and key. Pull out desk lid supports.

Interior curly maple pull out drawers. Four curly maple front drawers. All drawers are hand dovetailed. All boards are hand planed.

Square nail construction all over. Turned rear legs with sleigh leg front.

Very nice solid original piece of furniture ready to be displayed in your home or office. 41 inches wide by 24 inches deep at the base.

Top is 11.50 inches deep and 84 inches tall over all. Guesstimated weight is 250 pounds.
