Antique American Empire Flame Mahogany Dropfront Secretary Desk, circa 1840. An antique American Empire secretary offers deeply striated flame mahogany construction with upper bookcase having double glass doors with arch form filigree and two drawers surmounting lower case with drop front desk over ogee frieze drawer and two long drawers, raised on bracket feet, circa 1840. Overall very good condition, tight and sturdy with minor scuffs and age related wood split in drop front board.

Wear consistent with age and use. Measures- 89" H x 46" W x 21 D.
