Antique Burlwood Drop Front Secretaries Desk

  

This is a beautiful burl front wood desk with carved accented and 2 dovetail drawers. One spacious drawer at the very top and one below the writing surface.

It is in wonderful original condition. It is compact yet very spacious once opened.

It will be the perfect standout piece no matter where it is placed in your home. The Weiman Furniture Company of Illinois made heirloom quality furniture in the 1900's and at a point in time this line became a division of Basset Furniture. I can find no evidence that this Heirloom Quality Furniture Line exists today. It seems this wonderful desk may have been made somewhere around 1935.

It is a quality piece that has stood the test of time and has so much more life to live and usefulness to give. Measures: 26" wide x 22" deep x 41" high, writing surface 29 ¼".
