Antique Carved Mahogany Shell Carved Drop Front Secretary Desk. A really nice Antique shell carved drop front secretary desk. Shows appropriate signs of age from normal use. Entire case is dovetailed with fine craftsmanship and is resting on elegant French feet which are lacking some, 3 of the little pieces that finish off the foot, both on the front right foot and one on the left. The desk isn't lacking height, the substructure leg is fine but the pretty little bit of the foot isn't present.

The knob that holds the bail handle on the bottom right hand drawer has been broken off at some time, i believe that its in the drawer and the handle is as well as one of the tiny foot pieces that i mentioned above.
