Nathan office equipment company out of New York City. They've been making furniture since the late 19th Century. The all-wood desk stands 27 inches tall. Its top measures 32 x 18 inches. There is a small drawer with a CHAS S. NATHAN brass identification tag in it. Next to the drawer is a small pull out shelf. This most likely was a secretary side desk suitable for a typewriter or note taking. Probably dating to the early 20th Century... Certainly no later that WWI. Photos are of the actual item, however colors may appear different due to camera lighting & differences in computer screens. NOTES:I find antique and collectible items at Estate sales, Auctions, Thrift Stores and private sales, so the majority of the items that I sell are vintage or used and may show signs of normal wear and age.
