Antique Chippendale style mahogany shell carved and block front slant top secretary desk, c1890. Having a raised brass gallery top over slant lid with block front and carved shell opening to a fitted interior over 3 block front drawers with matching shell flanked by beehive turned columns and standing on ball & claw feet. Very nice brass winged griffin hardware pulls. Desk is in used condition with marks to wood and scratches to finish but is in overall good condition. Minor TLC required to bring it back to life as it is an excellent quality example.

Missing pulls for slide out desk supports. Desk is being removed from an estate across from the famed Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck NY. Measures 32.5 wide X 19 deep X 38 high to top X 40 inches to top of gallery. Items can be picked up in New Rochelle, NY 10801.
