The exterior features all the nicks and dings that come with age and over a hundred years of use. The burl details on the cylinder and desk drawers are a nice contrast agains the medium-stained walnut, and the original handles and keyhole escutcheons add a nice detail to this early Victorian piece. Open the burl cylinder, to expose the interior, featuring cubbies, drawers, and a pull out writing surface with lots of character.

There are even little ink blots on one of the cubbies where someone had their ink pot for writing letters while sitting at this desk! There are some other condition issues, mostly minor blemishes but there is a little issue on the side where the case probably hit up against some molding, but we can detail that out for you no problem in our professional restoration shop, if you remind us at the time of sale.
