An Eastlake Victorian Walnut Cylinder Secretary Desk, United States, c. This Secretary would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid walnut shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by an deep satin finish. The top crown of the secretary shows a heavily carved motif, along with a flat surface top for display. The Cylinder roll top is made up on a series of walnut board panels, the center panel shows a stunning burl veneer accent.

The cylinder front includes an aged brass knob top open and closes this area. The interior of the Secretary includes a pull out writing surface which is embellished with a green felt top, it contrasts perfectly off the walnut finish. The bottom chest of the Secretary includes a single drawer as well as double doors which leads to shelf space.

This piece is unsigned or marked. Condition: This Secretary was exceptionally well made, it's both solid and sturdy. The piece was refinished at some point in its life, although it was not done in recent years. Minor repairs are shown in select areas as well as surface scratches and finish blemishes.
