Antique English Oak Jacobean Barley Twist Secretary Desk

  

This is a wonderful antique secretary desk imported from England. The Jacobean styling highlights the look along with the fantastic barley twist legs. The drop front desk has a nicely fitted interior. Two stabilizer wood pieces come out automatically when the desk is opened.

Underneath the desk are two dovetailed drawers. There is a lock on the desk but it does not have a key. The piece is in good condition. There is some age appropriate finish loss and there's some minor separation on the front of the desk portion. A few nails have popped from the back. And it looks like the two pulls on the bottom drawer have been replaced. Please see all the photos for details. The desk is 29.25" wide, 16" deep and 40 tall.
