Offered for sale is an amazing antique English dark oak slant front desk that started life in England in the late 1700's! It has fantastical carvings on the lid front and 4 drawers. The desk measures H 44" x W 39" x D 22.

When the lid is open it measures 38 deep. The depth of the top of the desk is 9.5. Study the pics to appreciate the 6 gothic arched cubby holes with a central locking door. Under the cubby holes are 11 small drawers. Before lowering the lid, you manually pull the 2 slides that support the lid for writing, etc.

The single key locks the slant front and the central door where the cubbies are located. This is an amazing piece of history and a sure conversation piece.
