Antique English Secretary Desk With Side by Side Open Face Bookcases

  

This beautiful secretary bookcase was imported from England. The drop down front has a nicely fitted interior with a single small drawer.

Below the center section is a single drawer with a shelf inside. On the sides are two open face bookcases. There is lock on the drop down section and it has a lock but it is not the lock that came with this piece. It also has a key but that key does not lock the desk. It is useful only for pulling the drop down section open. The piece is in good and stable condition, but it does have some repair on one of the side shelves that looks like it has been glued back together.
