Antique French secretary, mahogany ladies desk, Louis XV style. Hand Painted courting couple and floral decoration in front surrounded by bronze mounts. Visible paintings of the tree on the both sides.

Compartment for storage inside, two drawers. Size approximately 37 tall, 27 width in front, 18 depth. Desk is sturdy, wood is in good condition, bombe form on the sides.

There is a wear of the paint age related all over, desk dates to first half of the 19th c. Looks that beautiful secretary went through a lot, still has a lots of charm as is. Most important would fit in each kind of home, small apartment, big condominium, family home etc. The decision about potential restoration will be in hands of the new owner. Looks like little work was done on the drawers (newer nails).
