In excellent condition except for some minor chips on one leg of the seat (see photo). The Grunbaum Furniture Company was a major furniture company in early 20th Century Seattle. Obama's maternal grandfather worked at a furniture company in Seattle while the family lived on Mercer Island in the 50's.
