Coming from a Hudson New York estate is this absolutely gorgeous Italian made hand painted Secretary. Tall and slender, it has all you may need, 4 drawers on the bottom for storage, a desk in center under the lid, and 3 shelves behind a glass door where you can display all the beautiful items you have. All 3 sides of this beauty are painted in a blend of peach and salmon color, further decorated with raised gold chinoiserie Asian paintings of people, nature, pagoda top houses. Nice bombe form front and sides with 4 drawers. Each drawer has two bronze knob style handles. Slant door is hiding a beautiful desk interior done in the same finish with a matching scenes. Top features a glass door, with a lock and key, and interior is done in the same manner as the exterior. Size is just right to fit in house or apartment, 80" tall, 31" wide, and 19 deep. Condition is good, does show age / use wear, flakes on edges and in center drawer. This is a quality and beautiful piece of furniture, it will add light to any room!
