It has pillars going down the outside of the bookcase top that contains two shelves with an adjustable height interior. It has a gorgeous perfect dark walnut burl walnut cylinder with spoon carving all the way around. The base has two unusual burl walnut panel doors, a triple drawer center and a large drawer on the base. The base has the same pillars as the top. When you open the cylinder, you can see where it was freshly re-felted which is normal and a simplistic double drawer cubby interior.
All the locks are there, but there are no keys. All the hardware is intact. The biggest negative is that there is no key. Everything is good on this desk as it is so much better than normal. The overall size is 42 inches wide, 23 inches deep, 30 inches high to the pull out writing surface, 43 inches high to the desk base and 97 inches high to the top of the gallery.The size of the bookcase top is 38 inches high on the doors. It is a beautiful cylinder secretary.
