Antique Victorian/Renaissance Revival Secretary desk/bookcase

  
This is a beautiful piece that I acquired this spring and FORTUNATELY for you, I'm unable to use it due to space limitations. Everyone that has seen this piece immediately (and unprompted), ooohs & aaahs and follows this up with "what a shame that you can't use it"! The ONLY apology to mention is a crack in the bottom shelf that ABSOLUETLY does not affect the integrity of the piece and is only noticed by opening the lower cabinet. It would be an easy fix for any Do-It-Yourselfer but only if one prefers it done, as it is fine as is. It has a black rigid vinyl insert for the desk surface that could easily be replaced with leather, which is what I had intended since the piece is certainly worthy of such an upgrade.
