Authentic Conant Balls Handmade Maple Secretary Desk

  
DESCRIPTION: Mid-Century solid rock maple slant front desk in excellent condition by Roger Conant Group by Conant Ball Furniture Makers No. 12 Ancestor Finish with table of authenticity intact. Slant front pulls down and there are 2 supports on each side hold it in place. The desk has 5 main drawers (though it appears to have 8 drawers): 1 long, narrow drawer on top, 2 drawers in the middle and 2 deep drawers with dividers for files on the bottom, as shown.

The drawers have what appear to be aged brass pulls. The desk also has 8 smaller drawers inside with envelope slots of varying size above these drawers, as shown. And, there is a (hidden) pull up compartment in the back of the inside of the desk.

There are a few stains and scratches, as shown. The finish itself appears to have small black lines in it here and there. Top part of desk is 42" wide and desk is 42" high overall; main part of desk is 20 1/4" deep and top part of desk is 12 1/4" deep. Slant front lid extension is 29 1/2" high x 14" deep x 37 wide when extended. (1) providing packing materials and packing the item for safe transport to its destination.
