Antique secretary desk bookcase with beveled glass top. This is a gorgeous piece of furniture! Age, origin and style and wood type are best guess but we bought it in Eastern Louisiana and told it came from a plantation estate and age estimate was 1780's. Please review pictures to determine for yourself. Each piece of glass is beveled in top, no cracks or chips visible.

There are some minor losses to trim and scratches and wear but considering age is in very good condition. Drawers and doors all operate well.

Original felt has been removed from writing area but is in a drawer. Key included but not sure if original. 42" wide, 20" deep, 94.5 inches tall. We have ordered new embossed leather from a leathersmith in Connecticut that we will be installing on the writing area.
