Beautiful Cortland Company Antique Wall Mounted Drop-Down Secretary Desk. Description: pulled from ebth(dot)com. An antique wall-mounted secretary desk, circa 1887. The desk was manufactured in cherry by the Cortland Desk Company, Limited. The central section is a three panel raised door with an escutcheon and key hole (key is not present) labeled, Cortland Desk Co. Lim, Feb 8 87, Cortland, NY.

Behind the door is a storage and organization compartment with cubby holes, horizontal slots and vertical slots. A panel in front of the cubby holes folds down to reveal a writing surface. Condition is good, quite a stunning piece. Please Note: The left hinge on the drop-down desk is in disrepair (has split off of the wooden desktop piece) and needs to be fixed. 50.5" Tall, 40.5" Wide, 9 Deep.
