Bevan Funnel English Secretary Desk

  

A Bevan Funnell English mahogany two-piece slant-front secretary desk with two paned glass doors with interior wood shelves, and a lower case with a slant lid that reveals a fitted interior with leather writing surface and secret compartment. Case has two-over-three graduated drawers, and straight bracket feet. 84 in tall x 37-1/2 in wide x 18 in deep. I special ordered this piece from a fine furniture store in Nashville in 1986.

It is beautiful and as you can see it contains part of an antique book collection. The books and contents are not included in this listing! It comes in two pieces + the drawers. The top with the breakfront style and the base.
