George III Chippendale Slant Front Secretary desk with bookcase, circa 1790

  
This rare 88 Tall Mahogany Wood Chippendale Secretary Slant desk bottom with matching bookcase top was hand picked by Thomas Rogers Harrison, owner of the Butler Peddler Antique Store in Butler Maryland. A present for his wife over thirty years ago.

This very original piece has been kept in estate condition with appropriate age signs, majority of the original period heavy brass is in place with minor tune ups. As shown in pictures there are two areas on slant desk door with minor wood splits due to age. The back side wood has splits as shown in pictures.
