Antique Early 19th century English Georgian Bureau / Secretary /Desk with exclusive carvings on fall front. Hidden behind the fall front desktop is fitted interior of pigeonholes and single drawer. The base has same size deep 4 drawers with locks, original brass'bat-wing' handles and escutcheons. Quartersawn Oak has been used to make this. Drawers are working well, and original brasses are complete. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor separation of boards on sides of secretary on glue joints. Key for fall front fully functional. Drawer locks are functional, but very hard to unlock. Dimensions: 40.5"H x 30"W x 18.5D. Secretary fall-front writing surface is 29H from the floor. This is a vintage or used item, therefore, a certain amount of wear and tear can be expected as such items are not usually in pristine condition.
