This is a Chippendale-style mahogany Governor Winthrop secretary. Slant-top desk with claw & ball feet from the early 1920's in beautiful condition. Minor wear is as expected for the age of the desk. The desk is 36" wide, 19" deep and 42 tall. The desk boasts the original keys to each of the four serpentine shaped, dovetail constructed drawers with brass pulls as well as the slant top desk and the interior cubby. The interior features eight letter pockets resting above five small drawers. There is a center cubby flanked by two secret pullout columns.
