A John Hancock / Chippendale style secretary made by Henkel Harris of Winchester, Virginia, USA circa 1985. Solid Mahogany with brass hardware. Upper bookcase features two fixed wooden shelves with plate grooves behind double locking doors with beveled glass panes. Lower desk features a slant drop-front desk behind which are hidden severa drawers and cubbies as well as a secret hiding place for valuables, as well as four larger lower locking drawers.
This piece is finished off at the top with crown molding and at the bottom with ogee bracket feet. Style # 6001 / 6003 Finish 29.
