Mid Century Vintage Danish Modern Secretary Desk /Book Shelf MCM Antique

  
A wonderful 1950's teak bookcase secretary desk. This piece is usually mis-attributed to Borge Mogensen (due to the "BM" stamp on the back) but was actually designed by Johannes Sorth and produced by Bornholms Møbelfabrik in Denmark. The top section offers two adjustable tapered shelves. The bottom offers three dove tail built drawers with sculpted recess pull handles in solid teak. This beautiful piece rests on a base with delicate tapered legs. This piece is in good vintage condition. But has been touched up with minor repairs and a fresh coat of lacquer.
