Old Antique 1880's Carved ROLL TOP CYLINDER SECRETARY DESK BOOKCASE

  

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique cylinder secretary desk with a bookcase on the top. It has glass doors on the front of the bookcase and brass hardware on the drawers.

The top of the bookcase has a ornate carved crown with picket fence-like wood pieces on each side of the crown. There are two shelves inside of the bookcase and the doors easily open and close. There is a lock in one of the doors which easily locks and unlocks. The desk has a cylinder, roll top cover which easily slides open and closed. The desk has nine small cubby holes that range in size as well as two small drawers.

Bottom of the desk has 1 large drawer, 3 medium sized drawers and 1 small cupboard to the right of the drawers. The drawers have ornate brass handles.

There is a ton of space in this bookcase and desk combo. Great for storing office supplies or books. The bookcase is a great way to display collectible books, glassware or larger collectibles. Great quality and guaranteed to be antique. This nice looking secretary desk would make a fantastic addition to any antique furniture collection and a great item to use every day! The key hole covers on the drawers have some chipping and one of the covers is nearly gone.

Two surface splits are in the cover that extend from the left hand side to the middle of the cover. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age.
