Old Antique 1880's ROLL TOP CYLINDER SECRETARY DESK BOOKCASE 4 Drawers

  

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique cylinder secretary desk with a bookcase on the top. It has glass doors on the front of the bookcase and brass hardware on the drawers.

There are three shelves inside of the bookcase and the doors easily open and close. There is a lock in one of the doors but we do not have a key for it. The desk has a cylinder, roll top cover which easily slides open and closed. The desk has 7 small cubby holes that range in size as well as 1 small drawers. Bottom of the desk has 1 large drawer, 2 medium sized drawers and 1 small cupboard to the right of the drawers.

The drawers have brass handles with bail style pulls. There is a ton of space in this bookcase and desk combo.

Great for storing office supplies or books. The bookcase is a great way to display collectible books, glassware or larger collectibles. Great quality and guaranteed to be antique. This nice looking secretary desk would make a fantastic addition to any antique furniture collection and a great item to use every day! The door on the bottom of the desk is cracked along the right hand side and is loose from the cabinet.

Looks like it might have been repaired at one point but did not hold. The drawers go in all the way when closed and do not sit flush with the front unless they are stopped there. There is some staining and peeling present on the red lining of the desk.

Typical light to mild wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
