Paul McCobb Planner Group Drop Lid Secretary Desk Tobacco Finish

  
We offer a Planner Group Secretary Desk designed by Paul McCobb for Winchendon Furniture Company. The desk features a drop lid revealing three small drawers and a work surface. There is a shelf in the lower space with two solid wood doors that slide across rails at the base. The wood is either maple, birch or beech. The pull on the drop leaf is wood with metal fittings for the screws. The right side of the pull has dimpling possibly from a pair of pliers. The knobs on the three drawers are wood as are the two round rings on the lower wood panels. The color is tobacco and has not been refinished. There is a small indentation on bottom rail and some rubbing of the finish on a few spots on the edges.

There are scuff marks on the four wooden legs. Overall in very good original condition with wear commensurate with age. The overall dimensions are 36" in width, 15 1/4" in depth and 46 1/2 in height.
