Vintage 1940s Tiger Oak Wood Single Drawer Library Table Desk. This small library desk table was manufactured sometime between 1935 - 1948. Made completely from quarter sawn, or tiger oak, it features scrolled cabriole legs with incised carvings, scrolled feet, a secondary bookshelf, and a single double pull drawer. All hardware is original brass and there is dovetail joinery throughout. The drawer is beaded and paneled while the wide, smooth tabletop is an ideal work surface.
A small hole was added to the far right bottom of the drawer for a keyboard cord. This piece measures 28" high, 34" long, 21 1/2 deep, and weighs between 20 - 25 lbs. Good condition but does show signs of wear and repair from age and use. The drawer bottom was previously repaired as were the dovetails and bottom shelf.
