Vintage French Carved Tiger Oak Desk Secretary Bureau Bookcase Louis XV Drop Front. A lovely vintage French carved drop front secretary, absolutely loaded with carvings and details!

Quintessential French style from the large upper carved shell crown all the way to the lower serpentine. Base with carved shell and the carved cabriole legs and feet! Ornately carved French drop front or slant front opens to reveal a fitted desk interior with SIX drawers and 4 open cubbyholes.

Serpentine top glass paned doors in the upper bookcase with three removable GLASS shelves; 2 large full length drawers in the lower bureau. Curved beveled wood trim on the glass door fronts. TWO pullouts to support the drop front when opened. More great details, note the carvings on the rounded front edges and the quality construction, notice how even the sides are paneled. Well built by craftsmen of the period.

The top bookcase sits upon the lower bureau. Keys included BUT old antique locks are finicky and NEVER guaranteed!! This was wired, at one time, for display lighting.

Lighting has been removed, but some small plastic wiring holders remain (you cant see them unless you look for them).
