Vintage Hepplewhite Mahogany Maddox Tambor Secretary Desk Dovetail Drawers + Key. Offered for your consideration is this Vintage Hepplewhite Mahogany Maddox Tambor Secretary Desk with Dovetailed Drawers + Original Locking Key. The upper bookcase section has attractive double mullioned glass doors with 2 grooved plate shelves inside. The next section down has tambour sliding doors, which open easily and reveal an attractive desk paper/storage area with the small drawer fronts inlaid with satinwood. This section is housed by satinwood inlaid decorative supports and top frame. The lower fold-out drop front desk is also in amazing condition. The 2 dovetailed long drawers and tapered legs also have the corresponding satinwood design. This tight & sturdy tambor desk has had fabulous pre-loved care by its owner & the original label on its back and inside one of the drawers. 71.5" high x 36" wide x 19" deep (27" deep with desk section folded out).
