Vintage Mid Century Secretary Desk

  
Beautiful vintage mid-century secretary desk in good condition. Magically opens up into a mini office-desktop flips out from the top.

Appears to be made in wood veneer. There are some imperfections including apparent screws on the right side of the desktop (although not visible when the cabinet is closed).

I was going to repair/replace the desktop with real wood but don't have time anymore for such a project. The interior top shelf of the cabinet seems to have loosened the veneer somewhat.
