Vintage Secretary Maddox Mahogany claw foot 1950's

  

This is a beautiful vintage mahogany Maddox Secretary that is in very good condition. This piece came from an estate in central PA. The desk folds down and has 4 curved drawers with brass hardware and claw feet, as pictured. This piece has 2 parts: a bottom and a cabinet top that rests on top of the desk. The desk part measures 40" tall x 34" wide x 18 deep.

The cabinet measures 41" to the center finial and is 33" wide and 9 deep. The total height is 73 (not including the center finial).

We bought this as one piece and the top and bottom are both made by Maddox (please see labels). The desk was made in the 1950's and the top cabinet was made about 10 years earlier. The pieces are not an exact match but in our opinion, look well together and had been used together. You can pick this piece up locally or we can deliver it for the cost of a rental van plus gas and tolls within 200 miles. Please ask if you have any questions.
