Vintage Spinet Mahogany Flip-top Secretary Desk 19th Century approximately. Measures approximately 41 1/8" L x 19 3/4 " D, overall height 32 1/2" and 27 7/8" to desktop slide out top.

Normal wear and tear, scratches, gouges , chips, discoloration , water marks. Item is in need of refinishing(see pictures). This classic mahogany desk has a flip open top and pull out writing surface, and could also serve as a hall console table. Inside are small drawers and cubicles for papers. The lower drawer has solid mahogany sides and dovetail joints on this American made antique furniture.

Legs can be unscrewed for transporting. Note: Sections of desk maybe made of wood species other than mahogany? Because the wood finish is so dark the wood species is difficult to recognize? Best guess is that sections are made of poplar, birch , beech or other species as well as.
